Perfect for RV small cabinets
These are perfect size for the smaller RV bathroom and overhead storage cabinets to hold in all your items while going down the road. Well made and the internal springs hold the bars in place

I use them for a purpose they weren’t designed for and they’re fantastic!
I recently moved into a gorgeous old house that is nearly a century old, and while the previous owners did alot of updating, one of the things that wasn’t touched were the 1960’s windows in the upstairs room that is my office/art studio. The tension tabs at the bottom of the window that allow it to slide upward to allow fresh air through the screen into the room are shot and don’t work. The previous owners used a piece of wood trim to wedge into the track at the bottom of the window and then against the base of the window itself. The problem with that is that if a good breeze comes in, it slowly works the dry wood along the track and then it will drop suddenly with a loud crash and the window will come out of the track. I’m incredibly grateful that it hasn’t broken the glass! But, with summer, I really like to have fresh air in there, so I started looking around and found these tension rods. I know that they are meant to hold curtains in a window without having to add any hardware, but I saw that it has the non skid end pieces and thought that I’d give them a try. These work great! I only need two of them to hold up either end of 30″ wide window to allow fresh air to flow into the room and because of the height of the tension rods, they’re just tall enough to give me a good amount of air flow without worrying about the window falling. I plan to keep using this method until I can save up and have the entire window replaced so that it will be winterized, but until then, this works wonderfully, AND, since I do have some small thumbnail windows in the house, I can use the remaining rods to put up accent curtains if I get creative.Definitely worth the money!

a unique design feature I like
there’s nothing wrong with these regardless the low cost. they may be thinner in diameter but still more than strong enough to hold any size, weight curtains.the unique design feature I mentioned has to do with sizing. while most slide or have sections to adjust length, these do it differently. these rods screw to adjust length. so just turn clockwise or counter clockwise until you get the fitment you need. it works better adjusting this way than either sliding or sections.these look fine and function very well. if you don’t want to break the bank to get good basic curtain rods then these are a solid option to consider.

Not was I expected
I should have read more reviews before purchasing. These are really cheaply made amd aren’t like what I thought they would be.

as described
These work as described at helping us keep windows locked that have a portable air conditioning tube going out of them.

Perfect!!
These have so many uses. I put between my railings to keep my little dog in. I only needed 4 as the sofa is in front of the others. It actually looks like part of the rail!! I am so pleased to find these. Order closest to the size you need for more stability. I only had to extend about 3 inches.

Poor quality- After one use the rods slip
Was good for one use. Second time I tried many of the rods would not hold the tension and slipped. Seems like the threads inside just gave way and couldn’t hold the tension.

Only buy these if you need them for horizontal use
I thought these would have more tension range and sturdiness than they do, but that may be due to the fact that I bought them to use vertically and not horizontally. These are adjustable by turning them left or right. There is really hardly any spring tension once you spin them to where you need them to be. As long as you don’t apply any pressure at all to them once you have them set or you don’t bump them with anything at all, they’ll stay in place. I just thought they would be more sturdy and that the spring tension would be more vast once you have them where you want them.I bought them so that I could keep all the boxes of cling wrap, parchment paper, foil, wax paper, ziploc bags, separated in my pantry, so they wouldn’t fall over onto each other or get mixed up.
